Join VLT along with the Upper Missisquoi and Trout Rivers Wild & Scenic Committee (UMATR) and the Missisquoi River Basin Association (MRBA) for a scenic four mile paddle of the Upper Missisquoi as we weave between farmland and natural spaces. We will be beginning our paddle from the Burgess Branch Access Point on Hazen’s Notch Rd in Lowell downstream to a Vermont Land Trust Property just above the Lowell/Westfield town line guided by UMATR, MRBA, and VLT staff. This is a great way get a river’s eye view of some conservation work that’s been done along this stretch and lean about plans for the future as well.
This section is first time paddler friendly and UMATR has boats available if needed!
