Join us for a botanical and ecological ramble through some of Vermont’s bogs and fens. We’ll learn how they are formed and how they develop and change over time, and we will see some of the beautiful wildflowers, sedges, shrubs, and trees that grow in them. We’ll feature several different Vermont peatlands, a few of which you can visit on your own. Although this is mainly a botanical explore, we will also share some of the insects and birds that grace these beautiful wetlands.
