Join the Mad Birders and the Vermont Land Trust at the Pratt Refuge on Ward Hill, Duxbury, Vermont, for a celebration of Fred Pratt’s life and early Spring Bird Walk. The Pratt Refuge was conserved with the Vermont Land Trust in 2000 by the late Fred Pratt and his wife Chris. In 2019 Fred donated the Refuge to VLT so others could birdwatch and enjoy the beauty and biodiversity for years to come. The walk will be led by Pat Folsom, Ali Wagner and Mead Binhammer.
RSVP is not required, but parking is limited. Carpooling, while optional, is advised. Meet at Harwood High School at 7:45 AM and then drive 2.1 miles up on Ward Hill Road off Route 100 in Duxbury near the hand-painted sign at the bottom of the driveway that says “Pratt”.
The Vermont Land Trust welcomes all people regardless of background or identity.
