Join Vermont Land Trust at an online screening and discussion of the film “New Neighbors: the Beavers of Allen Brook”. The film investigates the recent uptick in beaver activity in the suburban town of Williston and invites a change in perspective to better appreciate one of our most misunderstood keystone species.

After showing the 29-minute film, filmmaker and Williston resident, Jim Heltz will be joined by VLT Naturalist Allaire Diamond for a discussion of themes, including the surprising details of the species’ origin, their influence on the area, and the beavers’ crucial role in the battle against climate change. There will be times for questions and answers. We hope you can join us!
