Brewster Uplands Tour
The 600+ acre Brewster Uplands are owned and managed by VLT as a community resource. The scenic land is home to eight miles of trails through diverse woods and river bottom land.
There are also two major farm operations: the nonprofit West Farm produces hundreds of thousands of pounds of produce for local institutions, and the Robtoy Farm is used by the Green Mountain Technical Career Center’s diversified agriculture education program.
Participants will get an overview of the rich history of this property and tour the two farms. After the farm tours, guests are invited to walk the Alden Bryan Brewster River Trail on their own (maps will be provided.)
Farm tours will be given by: Angus Baldwin, manager of the West Farm and Sam Rowley of Green Mountain Technical Career Center Educator.
