Join us for VLT’s annual summer farm tour series! Throughout the growing season, we’ll host monthly farm tours to showcase conservation-minded producers from around the state. Each tour will highlight the incredible work of one farming team and give the public a chance to learn about how they steward the land while producing some of the finest food and farm products around.
Wood’s Market Garden is a 165-acre farm producing about 40 acres of certified organic vegetables, fruits, herbs, and flowers each year in Brandon. Founded by the Wood family in the early 1900s, it has long been a trusted part of the local community, known for fresh, high-quality products and a strong commitment to service. The farm sells direct to customers through their seasonal roadside farmstand, as well as wholesale to local coops, restaurants, and regional distributors. The farm is best known for their hanging baskets, potted annuals and garden transplants in the spring, and tomatoes, strawberries, and sweet corn in the summer. Dan and Elyse Wulfkuhle have owned and operated the farm since 2023.
Please note that ticket sales will not begin until 90 days prior to the event.
