Join us at King Farm for an exploration of the people and buildings that have shaped this historic property.
In partnership with the Preservation Trust of Vermont and with support from the Woodstock History Center, this program will trace the evolution of the farm’s barns, farmhouse, and working landscape. The event will feature a guided walking tour of the King Farm’s historic outbuildings led by traditional building specialist Jan Lewandoski (Restoration and Traditional Building) and historic preservationist Jackson Evans (Preservation Trust of Vermont). We will also highlight the individuals and families who lived and worked here as well as discuss the future of this beautiful place. Through stories, photographs, and on-site interpretation, we’ll consider how preservation connects past and present—and what it means to steward historic places into the future.
