To improve the quality, sustainability and accessibility of the trails at Brewster Uplands, VLT has been working throughout the summer to rebuild many miles of the network. At this Open House, we’ll be taking a closer look at the Loggers’ Loop trail network and the recent work to improve trail conditions and water quality.

Runoff from trails can have negative impacts on the watershed, and wet and muddy conditions are unpleasant for users and cause challenges for long-term trail maintenance and sustainability. VLT worked with Greg Fatigate of Rabbit Tracks Trail Works to redesign the Logger’s Loop trail to facilitate better movement of water and ensure the trails will last. Come learn about the specific techniques used to improve both trail quality and water quality.

Please note: this event was rescheduled from Wednesday September 4th to the new date of Wednesday October 2nd.

The Vermont Land Trust welcomes and affirms all regardless of their age, culture, abilities, ethnic origin, gender, gender identity, marital status, nationality, race, religion, sexual orientation, and socioeconomic status.
