What is a Beaver Deceiver, and how does it work?

Beavers are ecological engineers that can create incredible wetland complexes, but when they dam culverts, the rising water can damage roads and other human infrastructure.

Join us at Brewster Uplands to learn about a strategy that reduces beaver-human conflict without killing beavers. Flow devices keep beavers away from priority culverts, and we’ll hear from Skip Lisle, internationally known inventor of the Beaver Deceiver, about the device he has installed here.
