Take advantage of this incredible day with renowned Vermont artist Susan Abbott to learn techniques for field sketching and explore the natural beauty of Vermont’s wetlands with the Vermont Land Trust!
Join artist Susan Abbott and Vermont Land Trust ecologist Allaire Diamond for a fun and instructive drawing and nature workshop!
We’ll start the morning at Milton Artists Guild learning sketching techniques and then caravan to a nearby wetland on a conserved farm for a guided “sketching treasure hunt” of the plants and animals of this fascinating ecosystem. We’ll finish our morning of drawing and exploration by sharing a picnic lunch and our sketchbooks and have a discussion about the vital importance of wetlands and wetland restoration.
- Sketchbook no bigger than 8” x 10”
