About the event

Many landowners in the Northeast Kingdom are seeing a growing threat to biodiversity and ecosystem function on their land: invasive plants.

Join NorthWoods Stewardship Center for an in-person workshop to learn about ways that VLT has been taking action to manage invasive plants at Bluffside Farm in Newport. See treatment methods for controlling barberry, honeysuckle and buckthorn, and discuss how, when and why to take action.

Presenters

This workshop will be presented by three Vermont foresters:
Dan Kilborn, Vermont Land Trust
Jared Nunery, Orleans County
Sam Perron, NorthWoods Stewardship Center
