If you are interested in recording an interview and adding it to the “Stories of the Land” collection in the Vermont Folklife Archive we suggest you reach out ahead of time to their archivist, Andy Kovolos (akolovos@vtfolklife.org) for guidance. All submissions to the Archive will require a signed release agreement, which the Archivist will provide to you.
Everyone has a place that is special to them
We develop a connection to place through our own experiences and memories of our time there, and through stories from other people who also care about that place. VLT is partnering with Vermont Folklife to give people the tools to seek out and record oral histories that document their relationship to important places in their life and community.
Through this emerging partnership, VLT is inviting you to document the stories associated with a place you care deeply about. Please explore the video and resources linked below to find out more.
