Located on the Champlain Islands, this small organic farm with a big heart has something for everyone

On Vermont’s largest island of Grand Isle, Blue Heron Farm strives to make organic food affordable for everyone. Its 30 acres of rich fields—tended by Christine Bourque, her partner Adam Farris, and their two daughters—support all kinds of local goods and produce.

Visitors and CSA members can take advantage of Blue Heron’s dusk-til-dawn farmstand to buy pasture-raised pork and beef and certified organic produce, flowers, herbs, plants, wool, eggs, chicken, and lamb.
