We are accepting applications for our hunting lottery at Bluffside Farm

The lottery for the 2024 archery hunting season at Bluffside Farm is now open.

As in years past, we will host archery deer hunting at Bluffside. For safety, all hunting will be archery-only because of the Newport City rule banning firearms. Hunting will be by permission only, and all rules will apply.

This year, archery deer hunting will be allowed during three periods:

• October 8 to November 15
• November 16 to December 1
• December 2 to December 15

Safety and recreation at Bluffside Farm

Bluffside Farm is popular for walking and will continue to be open to the public during hunting season.

We require that all hunters carry written permission and hunt only in the designated portions of the property, away from neighboring houses.

Visitors should be mindful that hunters may be present during hunting periods and wear proper safety attire. We will also post reminders at Bluffside Farm.
