Deer Run Nature Preserve Expanded

We’re excited to share that a  nature preserve in southeastern Vermont has expanded by 627 acres!

We worked with Green Mountain Conservancy to conserve woodland and farmland in Brookline & Newfane along the West River.

The land is being added to the Deer Run Nature Preserve, with a new trailhead and parking area located in Dummerston.

The preserve is owned and managed by the Green Mountain Conservancy which is continuing to develop trail systems. We hope you get to visit and stroll through the lovely woodland. Learn more at Green Mountain Conservancy’s website.
