Without leaves, it can be challenging to identify trees in winter! Join us at the Barre Town Forest where we’ll share the three B’s of winter tree ID: bark, branching and buds. Then we’ll hone in on the distinguishing characteristics of many different species from white ash to Eastern white pine.

You’ll walk away feeling more confident identifying trees this winter. No experience necessary! Bring questions and your own experiences to share.
