Join us on a tour of Champlain Orchards, one of Vermont’s longest-running orchards! We’ll learn about how the orchard grows over 140 varieties of apples, along with many other fruits including cherries, currants, raspberries, plums, peaches, and pears.
We will also explore the orchard’s renewable energy efforts, vertical integration from nursery trees to hard cider, discuss ecological growing practices, and sample a variety of products–including fresh fruit! Attendees are encouraged to come with questions and dress for walking outdoors.
This event is perfect for anyone who is curious about how apples are grown! Please pre-register today.
The Vermont Land Trust welcomes and affirms all regardless of their age, culture, abilities, ethnic origin, gender, gender identity, marital status, nationality, race, religion, sexual orientation, and socioeconomic status.
