Delaney Woods is home to diverse forest types and wildlife habitats that are open to the public for recreation and exploration. Join us for a kid-centered hike to a vernal pool—a small, seasonal forest wetland that is essential for the reproduction of several of our native frog and salamander species. We’ll look for signs of amphibian life along the way. Bring lunch if you’d like to picnic nearby after the event, at Lakeside Park
