Learn how to identify and harvest edible invasive plants
Join us to remove invasive plants, discuss edible properties, and learn how to identify and harvest. This workshop will focus on five common invasive plant species found in Vermont: autumn olive, purple loosestrife, Japanese barberry, garlic mustard, and Japanese knotweed. We will conclude the workshop with a taste test of a few different invasive plant dishes!
This event is perfect for beginners interested in spearheading invasive management on their property or expanding their foraging palate. Please pre-register today.
The Vermont Land Trust welcomes and affirms all regardless of their age, culture, abilities, ethnic origin, gender, gender identity, marital status, nationality, race, religion, sexual orientation, and socioeconomic status.
